My wife says I am crazy
My wife says I am crazy because I want an older diesel vehicle, such as a diesel Toyota. But here is the proof that maybe I am not crazy (or at least not for my want of an old diesel). Here are three links to 3 videos from a British TV show where they try to destroy an older Hilux diesel. I will admit they go a bit easy on the truck at times, but I was still impressed by how the truck held up, especially after the last trial.

ReplyDeleteI did not say you were crazy! At least, I don't remember saying so. Okay, I admit that there's a possibility I may have said that.
But I will get you an older diesel someday. Unfortunately, all I'm able to do at this point is one of the Hot Wheel or Matchbox variety.
But how 'bout a newer Golf TDI? I would try to drive it whenever I can, especially if it's a manual.
You may have to be driving the kids around for a while while I take your car. :)

ReplyDeleteI have seen these guys on TV before. It was when they drowned it in the salt water. It was pretty crazy. Their truck is looking like some of my Toyotas. I have had LOTS of them and I personally have never destroyed one of their engines (all gas). My wife on the other hand has managed to do in two of them. Ironically, one died in a cemetary. I must point out that most of the Toyotas I get have one wheel already in the grave. I should have documented some of my Toyota exploits. I've got some pretty good air with some of them. I have a neighbor that has a 2wd Toyota that looks a lot like this one. Held together with bungee cords. He finally bought a different one and uses his old one for wood hauling. Maybe I will break the mold on my blog and make a tribute to my Toyotas. Nice post!!
